This programme is focused on Food Safety and Customer Service to improve skills and assist participants’ employability in the Service Industries (Retail and Hospitality).
Please discuss with your Work and Income case manager to conﬁrm your eligibility.
During the 2-day programme participants will gain:
- Food Safety Certificate (NZQA Unit Standard 20666)
- Customer Service (NZQA Unit Standard 57)
The above Food Safety standard is mandatory in most cafés, restaurants, bars and establishments serving food.

Tree House staff are actively involved with the ServiceIQ and Hospitality New Zealand (HNZ) to ensure training for industry learners and workers meet the needs of the hospitality industry. We offer New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) recognised qualifications in:
“Course payment to be made prior to commencement of training”
If English is not your first language, you need to prove you have the minimum English level of IELTS 5.5 overall with no individual band lower than 5.
